Krishnasar Lake is known for
A short history
Historically, Gujjar and Bakarwal pastoralists traced seasonal grazing paths into these meadows, and by the 19th century imperial cartographers had documented the lake, with early-20th-century angling expeditions following. Today it anchors a stage of the popular Kashmir Great Lakes trekking route. [Source: etourismkashmir.com/guide-place/krishansar-lake/history]
