Reiek is a hill in Mizoram's Lushai Hills, about 29 km from Aizawl, rising to roughly 1,465 metres. It is known for a state-run heritage village recreating traditional homes of different Mizo sub-tribes, a moderate trekking trail to the summit, and views reaching the Tlawng River and, on clear days, Bangladesh.

When to go

November to March brings clear skies and cool weather, best for trekking and long views; the Anthurium Festival is held each September.

How to reach

By Road: Reiek is about 29 km from Aizawl, roughly 90 minutes by car on the Aizawl-Reiek road through the Lushai Hills. By Air and Train: Lengpui Airport, about 32 km from Aizawl, is Mizoram's only airport; Sairang Railway Station, about 15 km from Aizawl, opened in September 2025 as the state's first direct rail link, with trains to Guwahati, Kolkata and Delhi.
